8days, 6hotels, 5states-not the best yet awesome eoy family vacation miss the beautiful Kelantan/Terengganu people

We didn't get to to go rafting due to some unreasonable reasons from mom and dad. We did a lot of shopping this vacation. I prefer last year's road trip vacation though;we went snorkeling, caving, kayaking, climb waterfalls and other adventurous stuffs but this year was purely eating, shopping and visiting some boring museums. Here's some stuffs I did during the 8days road trip.

First Day; We had to stop over Kuantan cause it was getting late and we can't continue our journey to Terengganu.

*Breakfast-At a small cafe, Basking Robbins
*Dinner-Kenny Rogers
*Checked in at Grand Continental Hotel

Second Day; We continued our journey to Terengganu

*Breakfast-Grand Continental Hotel buffet
*Sight seeing at a local beach in Terengganu
*Dinner-We arrived at dusk so we had dinner at a restaurant and some cakes at Secret Recipe as soon as we arrived the place. I was surprised to see skaters and surfers at the place knwoing that it's a religious state. The locals are such beatiful looking people. Both males and females.
*Checked in at Ming Star Hotel

Third Day; Terengganu

*Breakfast-Ming Star Hotel buffet
*Shopped at some local street market
*Lunch-A&W
*Visited the Crystal Mosque (it was magnificient)
*'Swam' at a waterfall

Forth Day; Continued our journey to Kelantan

*We arrived in Kelantan at dusk. We surveyed for several hotels for almost an hour. There was this one time when dad parked the car at a quiet alley while he surveyed for a hotel nearby and three kids came to our car and knocked the windows for donation. They kinda forced us. After giving 2 ringgit, two of the kids went off except for one boy. Dad finally came back and the boy still wanted our money. The kid blocked dad from entering the car at first but after gave him 'that' look, he gave way but instead of leaving, he faced at da's window while leaning on the side mirrors. We were like og, is this what kelantan is? I was terrified, I supposed. Dad drove his car slowly in order to let the kid leave us but he didn't therefore daddrove a little fast. finally the kid gave up. That night was the day I got to know that were not going to raft. It was the highlight of the vacation. I started to think that it was just a stupid 7 days vacation until..

*Checked in at Juita Hotel
*Dinner at Pizza Hut and it was then I realized that kelantan have cuter and much good-looking people. They locals have such fair and clean skin that looks as if they were wearing powder. Though they don't really dress-up and the girls are mostly dressed in baju kurung, it was enough for them cause their looks are far too beautful for them to accesorized themselves. Kelantan is also known to be a religious country/state, same goes to Terengganu, but it some sort of adding my sins cause I can't get my eyes off the guys. They're nice PLUS good-looking. So much different than the Singaporeans.

Fifth Day; We checked into another hotel (in the same area) cause the previous hotel was not up to our expectations

*Checked inat Flora Hotel
*Shopped at 2 local malls for almost half a day
*Dinner-A&W

Sixth Day;Supposed to be leaving for KL but dad decided to stay in Kelantan longer

*We extebded another day at Flora Hotel and we had t change a room cause our room was already occupied for that day.
*Spent another day shopping and visited a local beach.
*Lunch-Local food, Secret Recipe and Donuts

Seventh Day;Travelled to KL just to grab the food there such as Subway and Carl's Junior. Basically cause it's Halal in Malaysia. We extended another day (so that we could shop more) which means we had an 8 days vacation instead of a week which was what we had planned earlier.

*Arrived at KL in the night and had Subway for dinner.
*Checked in at a budget hotel. This time round we had to book only one room cuase we had to save up for more shopping the next day.

Eighth Day;Shopped at KL and travelled back to Singapore

*Breakfast at an Arabian restaurant
*Shopped at a nearby mall
*Donuts
*Travelled back to Singapore

I've already watched Yasmin Ahmad's latest film which was showed not long after her death. It was a great film. It's almost as nice as her other films such as Sepet and Mukhsin. It is called Talentime and it pictures a few students who made it to the finals in the school's talentime. The film unfolds each of their lives. I can't believe I cried at the end of the story. Here's a few videos of it.

I've watched some Malaysian reality show during the stay there. It is called Idola Kecil 2. An awesome show. It's about kids on some kind of singing contest. What's interesting is that they're suprebly talented. They look so much comfortable around the camera and I have a crush on one of the contestants named Azzam. Damn he's a year younger.
