Cast of TALENTIME (don't they look cute? yes, yes)
Mahesh Jugal Kishor, Mohammad Syafie b Naswip, Howard Hon Kahoe

And not to forget the gorgeous Amelia Thripura Henderson. She plays the role of (Melati) the younger sister of Melur, one of the main character in the film. I first saw her on The Incredible Tales a few years back and now she've grown;pretty. I purposely put up a photo of her cause I just can't stand how stunningly gorgeous she is and you should see her too!

Gosh. I'm insane over TALENTIME.
And the OST.

MUALLAF.
The only late Yasmin Ahmad film I haven't watch YET.

Check out the size of that! The Ad was in Singapore and here's what late Yasmin Ahmad had to say about Singaporeans.

As you can see from the bunting above, "Muallaf" opens in Singapore in about 11 days' time. Faced with a distribution budget of miniscule proportions, Thomas Chia, the director of Lighthouse Pictures, has been working 24/7 to spread the news about our little film.

If you're on facebook, just type "Muallaf" in the search box, and it'll take you to this page. Through this, the ever resourceful Thomas Chia sent out an appeal for help to distribute "Muallaf" flyers.

Personally, I thought it was a shot in the dark. But boy, was I wrong.

Regular Singaporean folks -- students, lecturers, restaurant owners, cybercafe owners, website holders, members of film societies -- have come forward, asking for 50 to 200 flyers per person, which they volunteered to distribute.

Dear kind Singaporeans, you know who you are. And I can't thank you enough for your willingness to support our film, just out of the kindness of your heart.

Now, I have no idea how "Muallaf" will do at the box office. After all, it is only playing at The Picturehouse.

But you Singaporeans have done something worth much more than ticket sales. You have refreshed my faith in Mankind.

Thank you and God bless.

Sorry to all Singaporean patriotics but I guess Malaysia Boleh?

Now back to my life. Haha, you may skip this if you want to. Cousin, sisters and I went out on Christmas afternoon yesterday. We wanted to visit our cousin who's working for his very first time. He's working at Starbucks (Habourfront). He just received his N' levels results and was the top student in his school. Five As. Not bad huh? He's not an ordinary teen. He's special. Most people might find him weird sometimes. May God forgive me for saying this but all I know is that he's an autism BUT not just an ordinary one. He's just in the mild stage. It's only that he finds it a little awkward to be a round many people but he has overcome it. Other than that, I find him perfectly normal. He inspired me, actually. A guy;like him could achieve 5As in a national exam and he's extremely great in art and IT. I'm serious. He had even appeared in the President's Challenge this year cause he and his friends have done a wonderful mural for the president. I have a feeling that he will have a bright future ahead of him. And I'm proud of him.

After getting ourselves Starbucks coffee, we had lunch at Pastamania. We then went to the nearby mosque to perform the asar and magrib prayers. We rushed to the Converse sales afterwards. It closes at 8pm but we reached at 8plus. Thank gosh it closes about half an hour later. All I got to do was to browse at the stuffs. Not bad. Second sis will choose a nice pair of sneakers for me and bring it home today as an early birthday gift. She's supposed to buy me a bear. The DIY bear at Vivo but since there's a Converse sale (which also sales Kappa and Everlast), she'll buy me a sneaker instead. Urgh. Now I want the bear.
