I was reading the Urban newspaper yesterday when I caught a page about summer shoes for guys and thought that I could post it here. Here are some tips for guys on wearing summer shoes especially in this humid weather we've got here in Singapore, you boys should try to kick off those flip-flops and try on summer shoes instead.
Buying summer shoes is only half the battle. Here are tips on how to wear them in Singapore's weather and still keep cool.
TIPS ON WEARING SUMMER SHOES.

- Wearing socks with loafers or boat shoes is a fashiom faux pas. You look ridiculous and the socks will runple and make your feet hot and sticky. If you insist on wearing socks, go for low-riding ones or ankle socks and always pair them with long trousers.
- Look sharp by pairing summer shoes with tailored shorts and polo tees. Or, dress up the look with on-trend rolled-up linen trousers and shirts.
- Pick summer shoes in this season's hottest colours such as bright blue, rich purple and red. These vivid hues will jazz up any outfit.
- When wearing summer shoes in bright colours, however, remember to tone down the rest of your outfit. You want to stop traffic with your look, not cause an accident.
- Remember, your feet will expand in the heat. So go for summer shoes made of soft leather as they will mould to your feet and keep them comfortable.
